Program Details
Thank you for participating in the Solomon Organization’s Second Annual Detroit Give a Chance Charitable Lottery.
The Solomon Organization owns and operates over 60 rental communities across nine states, including four locations in the Greater Detroit Area of Michigan. We created the Give a Chance program in 2015 in Albany, New York to support local non-profit organizations and their missions to create positive outcomes in the community.
Since then, we have donated more than $130,000 to support causes in the New York region for anything from animal rescues to veteran services and food insecurity.
We hope you will join us for the Second Annual Detroit Give a Chance Charitable Lottery program.
Participation is free and all organizations will have a chance to win one of five prizes:
- Grand Prize: $10,000
- Two Second Place Prizes: $5,000 each
- Two Third Place Prizes: $2,500 each

Important Give A Chance Dates:
Mon., Sept. 30th: DEADLINE FOR 501C3 Charities in the Detroit, MI area to enter the drawing by filling the form on solomongiveachance.org.*
Tues., Oct. 1st – Thurs., Oct. 31st: Visit the Solomon Detroit Facebook page once a day and encourage everyone in your network to do the same and vote for your charity. The more votes you get, the better your chances of being randomly chosen for one of the three prizes!
Thurs., Nov 14th at 4:30 p.m.: At least one representative from your organization needs to attend the in- person lottery drawing ceremony in order to qualify for one of the donation prizes.

*All charities will need to fill in the entire form including the logo upload and paragraph even if they have participated in previous years. Additionally, in order to be considered for the lottery, all materials need to be submitted by September 30th.
